** Transportation with a heart
------------------------------------------------------------
Taking the LYMMO is not only convenient, but now you can hop on board knowing the ride is just a little bit safer.
We’ve partnered with AdventHealth and the American Heart Association to implement a Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) and install Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) on all downtown LYMMO buses. Bus drivers will now have the capability to provide life-saving care in cases of sudden cardiac arrest with Hands-Only CPR and use of an AED. This will make LYNX one of the first U.S. public transit systems to implement this life-saving technology
Check out the AEDs (https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1GimGN2zCR/?utm_source=City+News&utm_campaign=2bad592aff-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_01_07_03_07_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_c482f52094-2bad592aff-80648119&mc_cid=2bad592aff&mc_eid=UNIQID)

** Feelin’ Good
------------------------------------------------------------
As we kick off Women’s History Month and celebrate International Women’s Day tomorrow, we’re proud to tell the stories of the ladies in our city who had big dreams for a small business and made them happen. To start us off, we have Marcia Rosales, founder and artistic director of Marcia’s Looks Salon.
Marcia’s journey to becoming a master of her craft and mentor in the beauty industry began in Costa Rica when she was a young woman who just enjoyed doing hair for friends and family. Recognizing the joy she felt by making others feel beautiful, Marcia went on to study cosmetology and hair styling at the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje in San Jose, Costa Rica. Marcia moved to Florida in 2016 and opened her first salon in Kissimmee in 2021, before relocating her business to Orlando.
Marcia’s Looks Salon is now celebrated as one of Orlando’s “New Favorite Hair Salons,” known for creating meaningful experiences for clients, and fostering an environment where up-and-coming stylists are given the support and tools they need to grow their own careers. To visit Marcia’s Looks Salon, head to 925 West Central Boulevard, or check out check out marciaslooks.com (https://marciaslooks.com/?utm_source=City+News&utm_campaign=2bad592aff-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_01_07_03_07_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_c482f52094-2bad592aff-80648119&mc_cid=2bad592aff&mc_eid=UNIQID) for more information.
